Joie Arnold (1969) is a contemporary Jewish-American artist living and working in Kansas City, whose work explores themes of self-identity, hope and the human experience. As an autistic with synesthesia, Joie sees images and color when hearing sound, a gift that has transformed her “otherwise ordinary life, into extraordinary living“. Her unique perspective has helped produce visual art that is bold in original design, rich in color, line, texture. and given voice to her most visceral experiences, through prose.
