METAL
Metal has been used by humans for thousands of years. To me it represents humanity’s innate drive for ease, by fashioning it into tools, weapons, and shoes for horses. We use it to signify our deep devotion to one another, as exchangeable, wearable tokens. It assists in transporting us from one location to another,. It carries water in and out of our homes. Metal has also begun replace and support our body parts as wires, pins, screws, plates, stents, knees, hips and pacemakers, to name a few. When will we become cyborgs and merge with it entirely?
